We provide booth interpreters for international fairs at KINTEX and translations for exhibitors from abroad. Wherever you are in Goyang – Ilsandong, Ilsanseo, Deogyang, KINTEX area or elsewhere – we handle the complete certified translation process for you.

Whether you are emigrating, studying, working or marrying abroad, setting up a company, or submitting foreign documents to a Korean authority, everything starts with a translation that officials will accept. ABC Translation translates family relation certificates, diplomas, criminal record checks, corporate registry extracts, court judgments, contracts and every other official document, mirroring the layout of the original.

Korea has no system of state-sworn translators. Translations for use abroad are therefore usually notarised: the translator confirms the accuracy of the translation before a Korean notary (번역공증). Where needed we continue straight on to the apostille or consular legalisation, so you never have to visit several offices yourself.

What is the difference between a certified and a normal translation?

A normal translation is just the translated text. For a notarised (certified) translation the translator declares before a notary that the translation matches the original, and the notary certifies this. Most foreign authorities, embassies and universities require the notarised version.

How much does a certified translation cost?

It depends on the language pair, length, subject matter, whether notarisation or an apostille is needed and the deadline. Send us a photo or scan and we will reply with a free, exact quote.

How long does it take?

Typically 1–3 business days for 1–3 certificates. Ask us about same-day handling for urgent cases.

Do I need to visit an office in Goyang?

No. No visit needed – the whole process works by email and courier, anywhere in Korea. It works the same in Ilsandong, Ilsanseo, Deogyang or anywhere else in Goyang, and we can tell you whether accompanied visits are possible if you need one.
