ABC Translation provides certified translation to private clients and companies throughout Seoul, including Gangnam, Seocho, Jongno, Jung-gu. Most foreign embassies and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' consular counters are in Seoul, so legalisation and embassy steps move fastest here.

Whether you are emigrating, studying, working or marrying abroad, setting up a company, or submitting foreign documents to a Korean authority, everything starts with a translation that officials will accept. ABC Translation translates family relation certificates, diplomas, criminal record checks, corporate registry extracts, court judgments, contracts and every other official document, mirroring the layout of the original.

Korea has no system of state-sworn translators. Translations for use abroad are therefore usually notarised: the translator confirms the accuracy of the translation before a Korean notary (번역공증). Where needed we continue straight on to the apostille or consular legalisation, so you never have to visit several offices yourself.

How much does a certified translation cost?

How long does it take?

Typically 1–3 business days for 1–3 certificates. Ask us about same-day handling for urgent cases.

Do I need to visit an office in Seoul?

No. No visit needed – the whole process works by email and courier, anywhere in Korea. It works the same in Gangnam, Seocho, Jongno or anywhere else in Seoul, and we can tell you whether accompanied visits are possible if you need one.
